BUDDIES BEACH BAR AND GRILL is owned and operated by John Wilkes and ably assisted by his wife Gertrude Wilkes and friends. The local hang out is found on the South side of Frigate Bay called the strip. BUDDIES is so called because some of John's friends got together and helped him build the bar. To show his appreciation and gratitude for his friends' help, John Wilkes appropriately called the place BUDDIES BEACH BAR AND GRILL. In June of 2006 Buddies threw open the doors and it has been nothing but good vibes ever since. Buddies has grown famous for its food and in particular for its mouth-watering "Ribs" which customers declare are the best ribs in town. Buddies' aim is to provide excellent and personal service - making everyone welcome and being a part of the family.
On weekends there is live entertainment. At dinnertime guest dine while soft soothing, relaxing music is played.
